Artist Statement
Contemporary papermaking is an artistic discipline based on the control between states of matter, from fibrous to semifluid and to solid and substantial again, thus it involves the participation of organic phenomena in terms of contribution and definition of a final form. A successful piece is the one that embeds and reflects this umbilical cord, the dialogue between the artist and the matter, where a natural process reveals itself.
